Roxana ZangorRoxana Zangor received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Transilvania University (Romania). As a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship (1996-1998), she completed her Master's degree in Mathematics Education at Syracuse University (USA). In 2003 she received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics also from Syracuse University. Prior to her graduate studies in the United States, she taught middle and high school mathematics in Romania. After the completion of the Ph.D. she worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the United Technologies Research Center (UTRC) in East Hartford, Connecticut, providing expertise in numerical methods, datamining, image & video processing, diagnostics & prognostics. In 2006 she joined Pratt &Whitney Canada, a global leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, powering business, general aviation and regional aircrafts and helicopters. She was originally employed as Technology Manager in Customer Support and most recently in Engineering as Senior Technology Project Manager, primarily focused on technology and collaboration management. Currently she holds the position of Manager, Technology Collaboration Office.
